Fabien Majoro, Project Manager, Sustainable Development of the Mining Sector in Rwanda, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), GRIPS Global Governance Program (G-Cube), Ph.D. in Advanced Policy Studies (’18)

Dr. Fabien Majoro is a policy and governance expert with over 20 years of experience spanning public administration, development cooperation, resource governance, and strategic advisory. He currently serves as Project Manager for the EU co-funded Sustainable Development of the Mining Sector in Rwanda, implemented by GIZ, where he leads initiatives on responsible sourcing, digitalization, skills development, and environmental and social safeguards.
Previously, he held senior leadership roles in the Office of the Prime Minister of Rwanda, including Director General of Government Action Coordination and Governance Advisor to the Prime Minister.
Fabien holds a PhD and a Master’s degree in Advanced Policy Studies from GRIPS, an LLM in International Human Rights Law from the University of Notre Dame, and an LLB from the National University of Rwanda.

Richard Fosu, Lecturer in International Relations, Department of Politics and International Relations, Monash University, Melbourne, Australia, Two-year Master's Program of Public Policy (’17)

Dr. Richard Fosu is a Lecturer in Politics and International Relations at Monash University, Australia, and a Research Fellow at the Monash Global Peace and Security Centre. He holds a PhD in International Relations from Monash University, where his research focused on inclusive peacebuilding and post-conflict order in Uganda. His expertise spans peace and conflict studies, transitional justice, gender and inclusion, and Global South perspectives in international relations.

Richard’s work has been published in leading journals such as Africa Spectrum, Disasters, and the Journal of Intervention and Statebuilding. He has contributed to policy-relevant research funded by Global Affairs Canada and the Australian Civil-Military Centre, particularly on women’s inclusion in security institutions and UN peace operations. He previously worked as a public servant in Ghana and holds degrees from GRIPS, the University of Ghana, and Monash University.

Amila Jayarathne, Researcher & Senior Lecturer, De Montfort University, Leicester, United Kingdom, Public Policy Program (’06)

Dr Amila Jayarathne is a Senior Lecturer at De Montfort University, UK, and previously served as a Professor in Marketing at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka. She holds a PhD in Management from the University of Nottingham and has extensive academic experience spanning more than two decades. Her research focuses on marketing, digitalisation, sustainability, and supply chain resilience, and she has published widely in highly ranked international journals and scholarly books.
Amila has received multiple international fellowships, including at Xi’an Jiaotong University and Monash University, along with several best-paper awards. She actively contributes to global research through supervision, keynote speeches, and collaborative projects.
Amila graduated with a Master of Public Policy from GRIPS in 2006
